That's what we thought on Thursday and made our way to the famous Kitzbühel. The small village in Tyrol became world famous through the Hahnenkamm Race. This spectacular ski race has been held on the Hahnenkamm since 1932 and attracts around 85,000 spectators every year on this race weekend.
In summer it is thankfully more tranquil, which is more to our taste.
an alpine power place in the middle of Kitzbühel!
We deliberately chose the Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort which not only impresses with its central location (directly at the city park & only 3 minutes walk from the picturesque town centre of Kitzbühel) but also with its ambience & service.
The beautifully landscaped garden with a magnificent sun terrace and small fountain have quickly become my favourite spot.
Whether hiking in the pristine Kitzbühel mountains, taking a sauna, bubbling in the indoor pool, sitting together on the wonderful sun terrace, letting yourself fall in one of the rooms or feasting in one of the restaurant areas, we felt like a million bucks!
The impressive Kitzbühel Alps as a place of power, the creativity in the kitchen, the love of details but also the architecture & the design captivated us immensely.
This combined makes the hotel a perfect hideaway for connoisseurs and temporary drop-outs! Check out more information at:
*By invitation of Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort - my opinion remains unaffected by that.
