Breathe a sigh of relief between nature & mountain air
On Friday we made our way to Seeboden in Carinthia over the weekend. The tranquil village with about 6.500 inhabitants is located directly at the idyllic Millstätter See.
Of course, there are several reasons why we are visiting the Moserhof for the second time.
The familiar and Austrian charm of the small 4**** hotel immediately caught our eye. Rounded off with a modern ambience and the personal attention of the friendly and qualified staff, we felt very well looked after.
The culinary delights are also particularly worth mentioning. Their motto "A PLACE OF DELIGHT" does not promise too much. Only regional and high-quality products are used, which are seasonally adjusted. Furthermore, the Hotel Moserhof is the first glutamate-free hotel in Austria.
My favourite spot was definitely the natural swimming pond, where you can best recharge your batteries and relax. If the weather is not that nice, you can relax in the indoor swimming pool, in the modern SichtSPA with a wonderful panoramic view or heat up in one of the saunas.
If you like it more active, grab your Millstätter See Inclusive Card, which is included with every overnight stay in summer, and then you can start your day. Very pleasant was that a Moserhof backpack and hiking sticks were available for the duration of the stay.
If you need individual advice regarding hiking etc., please contact your hosts Franziska and Gerhard Moser-Winkler. They are real mountain enthusiasts and will be happy to share their knowledge of the region with their guests...
PS: If you feel like going on holiday now, you should definitely book directly via the Hotel Moserhof website to benefit from a 5% direct booking discount!
*By invitation of Hotel Moserhof - my opinion remains unaffected by that.
